Day of Jewish Learning

Sunday, November 7th, was the Global Day of Jewish Learning.  In Moscow, the event was celebrated at Nikitskaya with a full day of activities.

The day started with a master class with expert scribe/calligrapher Abraham Borshevsky from Israel.  Despite the language barrier, Borshevsky proved to be  a delightful and charming teacher.  The gallery below shows some pictures from his master class, but I urge you to check out his website or visit his gallery next time you’re in Jerusalem.

Later in the day, there was a film about talmud, talmud discussions group, the Mystorin Theater group from Israel and a jazz performance.
